GRIEF MINISTRY
During difficult times in life, individuals or families might need extra spiritual and emotional support. We are here to give the care and support you need to make it through. As a community of believers, we are called to love and pray for one another in times of need. If you are facing trials, please use any of the resources below or contact one of our pastors.
Grief Ministry
The Trinity Lutheran Church Grief Ministry Team reaches out to those who are grieving through cards and other forms of communication during the year following the death of a loved one. If you have suffered a loss in your life, please contact Sara Schlichting at schlichts@comcast.com so that we can offer support and encouragement during this difficult time. The Grief Ministry Team is part of Trinity’s Building Caring Relationships (BCR) in Christ group.
GriefShare
Take comfort in God’s love while grieving and sharing together to rebuild one’s life after the loss of a loved one with our GriefShare class. This class features help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. GriefShare is a special class and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. We know grief can be unbearable at times and want to be here to support you through your journey. Contact Joleen at trinitygriefshare@yahoo.com.
Prayer Requests
Please let us know how we can be praying for you during this difficult time. Trinity Lutheran Church has a large and dedicated prayer team in place through our Building Caring Relationships (BCR) in Christ group. Prayer requests may be made to the BCR group by emailing bcr@trinity-lutheran.com. All 70+ members will be alerted to your present need and will have the opportunity to begin praying immediately. If you prefer, you may email prayer leader, Cathy Von De Bur at cvondebur@mchsi.com and she can contact the group on your behalf.
