MEMBERS OF ONE BODY
Members of One Body is the next in a series of re:Vitality modules from the Synod’s Office of National Mission. The subject of this module, currently in its final phases of development, is assimilation of new church members.
As part of a pilot project, Rev. Dr. Ken Schurb will teach the preliminary Members of One Body Bible study at Trinity Lutheran Church, on a series of four Tuesday evenings:
- February 1
- February 15
- March 1
- March 15
The Bible study will take place in the Parish Hall at our school campus (515 S. MacArthur Blvd, Springfield, IL) and will begin at 6:30pm.
We pray that those who attend will recognize the God-given unity of the church and be moved by God’s Word to reach out to our congregation’s newer members. We encourage all of our members to help new members become integrated into our Trinity family.
All are invited! Members of other churches interested in the Members of One Body re:Vitality module are invited to attend this Bible study as well, as it will offer a helpful preview of the program to come.
If you are planning to attend the Bible study, please contact kschurb@cidlcms.org so that we may have sufficient materials.
