Trinity Lutheran Church was founded in Springfield, Illinois, in 1841. Throughout its rich history, members of Trinity have been tireless in their efforts to serve God’s people and spread the message of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. Early members of Trinity Lutheran Church were instrumental in opening elementary schools in the area, as well as a local college, seminary, and hospital.
