Trinity Lutheran Church values the gifts and wisdom of its senior members and offers specific Bible studies and outreach activities for this special group.
Seniors’ Bible Class
The Seniors’ Bible Class takes place every Tuesday morning at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary at our downtown church campus (220 S. Second St.). With a committed group of more than 30 attendees each week, comprised of both Trinity church members and visitors, this class offers a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and Bible study. The group, led by Pastor Hemenway, is currently studying the Book of Isaiah.
Trinity’s pastors schedule periodic visits with members who are unable to attend regular worship services due to illness or physical restrictions. If you would like to be added to the pastors’ visitation schedule, please contact the church office at (217) 787-2323.
Trinity’s Building Caring Relationships (BCR) in Christ group regularly prays for our homebound members and reaches out to these individuals through cards and letters as they are able. If you would like to share a specific prayer request with the 70+ BCR Prayer Warriors, you can email email@example.com.
Members of the BCR group also provide transportation to church services or doctor appointments for Trinity church members as needed. Please contact Cathy Von De Bur at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are in need of transportation assistance.
