SPIRITUAL GROWTH
The study of God’s Word has been a priority for Trinity Lutheran Church since its founding in 1841. This dedication to studying and teaching God’s Word was evident early on in Trinity’s history, as this church helped to open several Christian schools and a seminary in Springfield. Trinity Lutheran Church continues to value and encourage spiritual growth through our multiple worship opportunities and Bible studies, as well as through our support of Trinity Lutheran School and Early Childhood Program.
Worship Services
We hope that you will join us for worship! When you do, you will encounter a worship service rich in God’s Word and deep in its content. We know that you experience real challenges in your life and don’t need shallow sayings or bumper sticker quotes to tackle those issues! Our services will arm you with the necessary weapons to face the trials you encounter in this world and at the same time shower you with the love, mercy and forgiveness of our God.
Worship services take place at 5:30 pm on Saturday evenings and at 8:00 am and 10:30 am on Sunday mornings. Saturday evening services are held in the Parish Center on the School Campus (515 S. MacArthur Blvd.) and Sunday morning services are held at the Downtown Church Campus (220 S. Second St.)
Bible Studies
Trinity Lutheran Church offers a number of Bible studies for different ages and groups. We hope that you will find a Bible study that meets your needs and that you will attend regularly as a way to make connections and grow in your faith.
